Meet Penny
From military adventures to upholstery adventures…
After more than 30 years in the RAF, I’m no stranger to adventure, challenges and learning new skills. My military career took me around the world and taught me a thing or two about precision, patience, problem-solving and getting stuck in — qualities that have proved surprisingly useful at the upholstery bench!
When I left the RAF, I was ready for a different kind of adventure — something creative.
I love transforming tired, forgotten or much-loved furniture and giving it a new lease of life. But for me, it’s about more than just furniture — I love the stories, memories and adventures behind the pieces. Whether it’s a treasured family chair, a completely bespoke creation or a military uniform filled with memories, I love finding creative ways to preserve what makes something special.
I completed my AMUSF training, gaining a Double Distinction in Traditional and Modern Upholstery, and discovered that I had found my next adventure.
